Elder Donna R. Cullar

Donna Cullar was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She is the youngest of three, although she always believed she was the oldest. She attended the Chicago Public School System.

Elder Donna’s college career started in Towson, Maryland at Goucher College, then transferred to Bradley University majoring in Computer Science. Toward the end of her college days, a great tragedy struck her, at twenty her mother became terminally ill and died. She would complete her Bachelor of Science at St. Xavier University.

Donna accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was Baptized at the age of eight at South Park Baptist Church. She loved Sunday School and the teachers. It was there that she first encountered her zeal and love for Christ.

She is the proud mother of four grown children and three grandchildren. She enjoys life through her passion and love for Christ, her family, traveling and laughing. She can find humor in the worst situations which has always helped her to overcome life with joy and laughter. She has lived in Atlanta, Georgia and Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Elder Donna has served faithfully in the kingdom in many capacities, but after a long sprint, she finally yielded to the call of God to preach his word. One of her favorite scriptures is found in Philippians 4:12- 13, she strives to master in this context: “12) I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13) I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Elder Donna has been blessed to have been a Software Development Specialist, a Technology Consultant, and an owner and investor in an internet company. She currently is self-employed as a life insurance agent, and resource specialist.

Elder Donna is bound to the ministry and loving it as she serves as Administrative and Youth Elder at New Beginning In Christ Ministries and volunteers as a Chaplain at Alexian Brothers Medical Center and to her church community.
